Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Review

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Review
We had pretty low expectations for Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and on the whole we weren’t disappointed. The story is total nonsense and unfortunately instead of playing for laughs, it takes itself a bit too seriously. It’s definitely a case of style over substance and it suffers from the excessive use of slow-motion and matrix style wire work that sucks most of excitement out of the action. The scenes where this is most noticeable is where they’re running across the backs of horses and the bridge burning finale. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of over the top action and ‘bullet time’ – in fact we really liked Timur Bekmambetov’s previous film ‘Wanted’ but sadly Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter isn’t in the same league.
