Everybody loves Star Wars toys (or certainly anyone that’ll be reading this!) but Finnish artist and photographer Vesa Lehtimäki also known as The Avanaut has taken this love to the next level! His Star Wars themed photographs and images are incredible. Regular everyday Star Wars Lego and children’s toys are given the star treatment, set up and shot like scenes from a movie. In his latest work Vesa Lehtimäki has moved away from toys to detailed replica models of Star Wars and sci-fi craft including a stunning hand built Y-Wing and Falcon to create photographs that’ll have you looking twice that these aren’t the real thing. Vesa Lehtimäki’s amazing work has been popping up across the web including: Wired UK, Gizmodo, Geeks of Doom, and the ultimate recognition being picked up and featured on the Lego website.
