Director Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity is just incredible and the most authentic and stunning looking astronaut movie we’ve ever seen. The opening sequence as things start to go wrong for the unlucky spacewalkers had us clutching onto our seats. The superb visuals, sound design and direction ensured we were completely immersed and part of the unfolding disaster. Sandra Bullock’s performance was just perfect, we forgot she’s a megastar and we totally believed in her character. Often movies with this much detail and technical wizardry on screen fail to deliver a satisfying movie – Gravity hits it out of the park! Emotional, tense and heart breaking. After we watched the trailer we thought what could possibly happen next but this will have you hooked right till the closing credits. Our verdict – cinematic perfection! (yes, we liked it!)
