We’ve just seen the trailer for Stuart Beattie’s adaption of the Kevin Grievous graphic novel ‘I, Frankenstein’ and we must admit to feeling slightly underwhelmed (no pun intended as this comes from the same creators as the Underworld Saga). It has to be said that we were hoping for something a bit better than this, it’s got the usually excellent Aaron Eckhart playing Adam, the creation of Frankenstein battling against some rather clunky looking demons and gargoyles. It’s all looking a bit too familiar and derivative, the CGI is a bit iffy and the PG rating is putting us off too. Hopefully when it arrives next year it’ll be good fantasy fun and just maybe they’re saving all the good bits for the movie….we’ll have to wait till January 2014 to find out.
