Living on the outskirts of an industrial city with it’s gloomy landscapes, huge factory buildings and smoking chimneys had a an impact on Russian born artist Waldemar Kazak. We’re glad it did, because Waldemar Kazak has a unique vision of the world and creates wonderfully dark and imaginative fantasy and sci-fi themed illustrations. His drawing style is both traditional and timeless, mixing humour with dark suggestive imagery. In the images below you’ll find everything from giant robots, 50’s style flying saucers and aircraft to pin-up girls, serial killers and mermaids.
