These reissued volumes are a new slightly smaller size of 26.67cm x 24.13cm. This is the first book we’ve reviewed in this new series and we have to say the quality of this 224-page hard back art book is up there with the original Marvel books and other Titan Books publications. It’s a gorgeous book, packed full of full-colour concept artworks, illustrations, production art, photographs, sketches and fully rendered 3d images. The book is packed with storyboards, costumes and set designs, detailing the heroes, villains and the cool technology featured in the movie. It’s great having the artwork side by side with the commentary from the artists and creators talking you through various sequences from the film, Iron Man’s armours and Whiplash’s various weapons. It gives you a real inside perspective of the work that goes into this and every Marvel movie. It goes without saying this is an essential purchase if you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and even more so if you love great concept art books.
