Alex mixes his love of science fiction with his strong interest in zoology, science, biology and real-world technology to create some truly unique science fiction themed images. There’s a great natural history feel to Alex Ries’s beautiful illustrations with every detail of these alien habitats, environments and ecosystems carefully considered and recorded. His work has featured in Cosmos Magazine, Pearson Education Canada and the Discovery Channel. Alex has also worked full time in the video games industry with THQ’s Bluetongue Entertainment Studio.
