Space: 1999 – The Vault is the ultimate and in our opinion the definitive guide to the much-loved live-action sci-fi TV series. This beautifully presented hardback book from Signum Books features 208 pages of full-colour photographs, models, illustrations, and sketches, many taken from the ITV archive. It’s packed full of content, including exclusive and previously unpublished images, including shots of original studio models and vintage merchandise.

Space: 1999 was a lavish science-fiction drama that captivated audiences around the world when it first arrived in 1975. The series starred Martin Landau and Barbara Bain, and was created by legendary producer Gerry Anderson. It was a hugely ambitious work for its time, and many of the ship designs and models still look amazing today. The eagle transporter is still one of our favourite sci-fi spaceship designs ever. The wealth of detail in this book is incredible, featuring rare behind-the-scenes photographs, close-ups of the costumes and props, and guides to key episodes from the series, fans will be coming back to this book time and time again.

If you loved Space: 1999 – this book is superb, it’s meticulously researched, and lavishly illustrated – it really is the only book you’ll ever need on the series. We can’t recommend this book enough! To give you a glimpse inside, we’ve created a short preview book video above. If you’ve seen enough, you can grab a copy (stock permitting) on Amazon UK and Amazon.com.
