We’ve just watched the last episode of Falling Skies Season 2 and can report this has been a massive improvement on the slow paced first series. Falling Skies does struggle with the balance of telling the story of the 2nd mass from an emotional angle, with the relationships between the characters and the need to deliver the action. This series does feel more balanced and less sentimental, and there’s a darker tone. Overall we enjoyed Falling Skies Season 2, it loses half a star for losing its way a little mid season and a finale that felt just a little rushed. Without giving away any spoilers you’ll be definitely wanting to tune in for Season 3.
