Let’s start by saying we loved the original 2003 Wrong Turn movie – okay it wasn’t particularly original but it was genuinely tense and pretty scarey. Wrong Turn 5 : Bloodlines is unfortunately pretty awful. There isn’t a single character you care about, the giggling Hillbilly Cannibals are rubbish and annoying, the kills are over the top and just silly – it’s a total mess, neither funny or scarey. It even wastes the excellent Doug Bradley (Pinhead from Hellraiser). This latest edition in the STV Wrong Turn franchise might just be the end of the road for the series….we hope!
